Concurrency in dynamic query using sys_context [message #185475] Tue, 01 August 2006 23:35

I have a doubt regarding the use of sys_context in generating the dynamic query in pl/sql.

I have a procedure P1 which uses sys_context to generate the dynamic query. If I make concurrent calls to the procedure P1, with diffrent parameter values from the same session will it affect the result of procedure? That is, I will call the same procedure P1 from the same session while p1 is already executing.Sine it is using the same sys_context will it overwrite the already existing data in sys_context?

If so is there any workaround for that?

Thanks in Advance.
