can i restrict an item on a price list by customer or by the
customer type?

Hi,
There are two ways to look into it
1) Create the price for the Item and attach the respective Qualifiers . Qualifier context can be either by customer or customer group
2) Create a price list and attach the price list to the
Customer definition
Customer standard-->Order Management (TAB)-->Price list

Hi,
Qualifier are created in the Price list and not in the Standard customer form.
But a customer is required for an qualifier
To attach the qualifier
1) Create a price list for the item
OM--> Pricing --> price list -->
2) In the Qualifier Tab , select the
Qualifier context --> Customer
Operator -->
Value -->
