hi all,

How can we create new database service in novel OS...
I am using oracle 8.6, i wanna create a new database ..

in windows its oradim whts in NOVEL and HP-UX

Hi.

"Oradim" is just for creating the Windows Service. Under Unix that is not needed.

Just create the init.ora for the new database and run the creation SQLs.
