I wanted to configure 10.2 RAC for only HA purpose (for failover), but NOT for LOAD BALANCE. How can I do that?

Should i configure thru TAF or any other methods?

Could any one point to any document or any notes please?

like this in the tnsnames.ora:

(FAILOVER = on)
(LOAD_BALANCE = no)
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SERVICE_NAME = test)
(FAILOVER_MOD=
(TYPE=SELECT)
(METHOD=SELECT)
(METHOD=BASIC)
(RETRIES=180)
(DELAY=5)
)
