Hi all,

i want that .. if a value doest satisfy any partition in a table then a new partion should get created automatically.
Is it Possible? can we do it .. I am trying to do it with trigger .. can anybody help me??????

That's what the MAXVALUE is for, otherwise to me at least, you may insert 10,000 rows that don't matc hany partition, and now you have 10,000 new partitions.
I don't see the PL/SQL in this though.
