how to change the default value for tab?while typing in pl/sql i am able to move only 2 spaces.i want to change it to 8.is it possible?do we need to create a registry key?

Please realize this question has NOTHING to do with Oracle itself.
The specific answer is very much dependent upon which OS & version, plus exactly which s/w utility is being used to create the SQL.
All of which you have neglected to provide as necessary details.

am using windows NT and when i am using the forms,while i write codes in the pl/sql editor,i want to chenge the tab key space setting.i know it has to b done in windows,but i want to know whether v have to change any registry keys in the windows to change the default value.

in registry in the forms dev folder i added a key named DE_PREFS_TABSIZE and added a value as 8...and it worked..!!!
