can we debug Anonymous Block?

You can add some dbms_output.put_line() statements in the code, set serveroutput on and run the code from SQL*Plus to see the output as it falls through the code.

yes we can but it is troublesome which can be done by using change(C) command and it is applicable for current line.


say u are in 2nd line by saying l 2(line 2)
then u give command as c/oldtext/newtext which replaces oldtext by next text of line 2.

Instead of this its better to work with ananymous block with the help of script file where modifications are easy.
