how to tune the Insertion of data that is takking a larger time.

What is the method to monitor and tune inserting data.

You need provide atleast ***some*** information.
Generally, presence of index will slowdown the insert.
depending on the method you use, you may want to look into direct load insert or using nologging options.
If this is multi user environment and many users are concurrently inserting to the same table, look into freelists.
Again, please provide useful information. Else it will be a wild goose chase.

hi,I think you can take a view of the v$session_wait when you insert, it will make you know what the session wait for.
