LMON Process Dies ORA-481 error [message #179731]

Hello,
I am implementing a s node RAC 9.2.0.7 environment on Windows 2003 server. The instance on node 1 crashes when I start the node 2 database. If the node 2 instance is down the node 1 instance starts fine. The error message refers to PMON unable to clean up a process..does anyone have any ideas?

00481, 00000, "LMON process terminated with error"
// *Cause:  The global enqueue service monitor process died
// *Action: Warm start instance

Your best bet is to open an SR on Metalink. When you get an answer, please let us know.

What does warm start the database mean? I found several documents that stated that was the action to do, but nothing explaining how to warm start a database.
