problem while deploying form 6i in the web [message #176066]

hi,

I am using Oracle 9i database and forms 6i.
I have created a form and want to deploy in the web. So i tried to run the .fmx file using "Run form on the web". But it is displaying "the page cannot be displayed".
Then i opened formsweb.cfg file and had given the following information under user parameters in this file :

form = item_mast_form.fmx
userid = mad/mad@ranga
seperateFrame = true
width=850
height=650
colorScheme=Teal
background= no

-----------

And tried to run the form again, but recived the same message.
Again thinking that there may be problem with tnsnames.ora file, i copied the tnsnames.ora,SQLNET.ora, listener.ora from the C:\oracle\ora92\network\admin to C:\oracle_forms_reports\NET80\ADMIN

But this also didn't work.
Again i tried to find whether i have given correct web port number.Then i figured it out that my server port number is 1521 from the formsweb.cfg file . But i am getting the same message that the page cannot be displayed.

Can anybody help me.

Read http://download-uk.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/forms/forms/A73071_01.pdf about configuring WebDb Listener and how to configure Forms Server 6i.

Port 1521 is definitely the port where the database listener is running, not the Forms Server.

Thanks jacki. I will go through the document. If i encounter any problems while deploying, i'll come back.

Because i am also facing the same problem.
i also have 9i db & froms 6i.

So plz tell me the solution.
