Hi! Can you please tell what modules you took training in ?
Someone on the net suggested Inferdata, and some suggested genesis and some sql star...I just wanted to get some latest information on the best training institute. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How can you rate the institute (Appworld) as the best!!!!!
No, I dont agree with you.
There are many good institutes in Hyderabad.
The first one is SQL Star International (authorised by Oracle).
The private institutes are:
Gensys (Himayat Nagar).
SPAM Technologies (SR Nagar)
Compulearn (SR Nagar).
I Logic (Ameerpet).
And the more important point is. Dont see the institute, but search for tthe good faculty.
And SPAM Tech is offering 100% placement services.
Think before you ink.

Hey Guys,
I have been to Vennala Tech in SR nagar and some other institutes. I find that the faculty there are just teaching Apps like a movie to the students. I am sure this type of one sided training is not useful for students who have non IT domain experience. More over basic things are never taught to the students. The training content is mostly sub standard. Their main aim is to complete a batch asap so that they can make more money.
Moreover i know many who didnt get any placement support from any of the institutes.
Today getting a break in Apps demands sound knowledge in the subject of SCM and how oracle Apps is integrated. Knowledge of implementation life cycle and implementation project exposure is required.
look around, try learning Apps from some good consultants in the IT industry who can share real experience. Getting break in Apps requires a lot of networking.

I am an Oracle DBA/Developer working for last 7 years in USA as a DBA. I would like to change my career into Oracle Apps DBA. I would like to obtain more information about the Oracle Apps DBA training in India.
I have few of the following questions:
1) How long is the APPS DBA training?
2) Is this a hands-n training?
3) What is the cost of the training?
4) Can I work on some projects in India itself?
5) How can I get started in the job career as an Apps DBA after finishing my training?
Also, I would like to work on Oracle 10g RAC on VMWARE machine learning Oracle APPS DBA materials. This way, I can get my hands wet on VMWARE, Oracle 10g RAC etc., along with the Apps DBA materials.

I think Wilshire Technologies, Hyderabad is a good institute..(though I do not know which one would be the Best!)...please note that this this is my opinion, could be wrong...they also have a fast track course on RAC.
