Hi

Our current envt is Oracle 8.1.7 / Win NT
we have PDB and SDB (Standby) running on different servers.

Iam planning to resize the datafile that belongs to TEMP tablespace.

I know the steps to follow when we add a datafile to PDB and to
get them reflected on SDB.

On Resizing the datafile , do i have to follow the same steps
or is there is any other way to get it reflected on SDB.

(NOTE: here we dont have the STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT feature for
automating the changes on SDB)

Thanks

You need to do it manually.

Alternative is to upgrade to Oracle 9i or 10g and set STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT = AUTO.
