PROBLEM DEFINITION: A user monitoring system is for auditing and accounting user activity for a typical service to detect misuses, if any.

ABSTRACT: As network services usage is increasing day by day at the same time hackers or attackers are also playing a vital role to disturb the services .The services used in the user monitoring system are in many ways they are Email service , DNS service, HTTP web server as a services. Among these sevices in this project the user monitoring system emphasizes for an email
Sevice. User monitoring put a sensor in the user’s system and observes and record or transmit relevant activities as they use their systems. The tool must monitor the traffic between different locks done by the user such that the server should maintain a database-containing list of registered user.Even though some tools are available for monitoring user activity, but they producing false positives at higher rate. Hence, there is an urgent need to develop a tool, to monitor user activity for a typical Network service to detect unauthorized users (A person who is not authorized to use the system but penetrates it then the user is unauthorized user) and at the same time to detect misusers and also minimizes false positives.
