hi all..
I am thinking of going for course to learn Oracle database.
can anybody tell me which one i shud learn.. i dont know much about datbases. i need to learn it from scratch. So if anybody is having idea on it then plz tel me how many months it will take..

I do not understand your question.
Oracle corporation has only one database technology. That is ORACLE RDBMS.

Depends on individual.
For example i am also trying to learn/understand just a small part of it (CBO and SQL) for the last x years.

Yes. That is the conventional method.
Alternative is (Anyhow you will be doing this. After the course, or during your employment Smile )
Buy a Good computing machine.
Download and install oracle.
Download and read the documentation.
Buy a few select books on oracle.
read and try what is written there.
Participate (read the postings, try and answer them )here (orafaq.com), OTN or any forum you prefer.
If you have an doubts/questions on concepts you are not understanding, Please post here.
We can give a try to clear the doubt or make it worse.
