Hi,

I will have phone interview with the IT manager from QUALCOMM for the Intermediate Systems Analyst / User Application Support position.

Hi,

How did your phone interview go? Another company which is hiring in the San Diego area is MedImpact www.medimpact.com. I had a phone interview with them but I did not possess enough Unix shell Scripting skills. If you like to compare questions or notes please let me know.

My response to the "did not possess enough Unix shell Scripting skills" question, is to ask if they have ANY shell scripts currently running. When they say 'yes', then I reply that I can plagarise as well as the next person and don't anticipate that there will be any problems.

I have VERY little in the way of Unix shell experience but I had to do one recently and it was simply a matter of asking the local 'Unix body' what scripts did anything similar to that which I have to do, and then copy and pasted it. If there isn't a local 'Unix body', then just read EVERY script that exists in the script directory!

im going to have an interview with Qualcomm too, like, in two days. How did yours go, Dai Lo? I heard Qualcomm technical interviews can be brutal... Embarassed
