Hello,

I am using Oracle 10g (10.1.0.4) and Streams technologies for replication. The question is about replicating such entities as documents (for example accounts, bills) with Oracle Streams.
Document consists of the master record in a master table, and one or more detail records in a detail table.

How can i keep a consistency in replicating documents?

For example, if one user adds an additional detail record in account in one base, and the second user does the same at the same time in the second base, then after capturing and applying changes we will have the equal but wrong documents in this databases - it will have 2 identical detail records instead of one.

How can i make Streams deal with the whole, entire document, not just 2 master-detail tables?

Thank you.
