Hi,
I need to have a dynamic LOV with different record group
I am getting 'FRM-41826: Cannot replace group; columns don't match LOV.'
which means I am unable to replace the existing record group with the new rec group as the structure of the two mismatches
1. Is there some way of having diff record groups ( with diff structures) attached to a single LOV at run time
2. Alternatively Is there some built-in to create a lov at runtime just like there is one to create a record group like Create_Group or Create_Group_From_Query
That way i can create a new lov at run time and attach the corresponding group to it
Someone in a similar topic replied --
make use of ADD_GROUP_COLUMN built in to add new columns to your record group.
But this seesm to be of no help as the LOV structure is still same
Please advice
