Usually the best approach is to read the documentation cd available.

I can briefly describe with what i remember that i have done for 11.5.9.

Install Java(jsdk1.4.1 i guess or the latest version).
Try to find out hosts file name and and add an entry like
121.2.4.4(this would be ur ip address) some.com
it should be like this in hosts
121.2.4.4 some.com

go ahead and run the rapid install. This approach u need to insert cd'd one by one.

Instead u can stage all the cd's into ur harddrive which would consume around 16gb.

follow the instructions.

please make sure to change the java directory to the actual path where u have installed it.
domain name give ur systemname.some.com

I hope this helps for a start up.

I would suggest you to go accross the pdf for installation.

Thank You but I am stuck at running the RaidWiz. I have followed the Installation Guide PDF from Orcle but I am getting stuck at this part...Can you please help..

I have typed D:\rapidwiz>rapidwiz.cmd at the cmd prompt and it just

and it just displayed the following and stopped.

D:\rapidwiz>start .\bin\launch.exe . RapidWiz.cl
D:\rapidwiz>

Please advice...

try this
D:\rapidwiz\rapidwiz

or try clicking the rapidwiz file directly.

MchittiB!

I tried and it still doesnt work.

Do I need to install Ms VC++, MKS Toolkit and GNUMake before installing apps. If so, where can I get a free download of MKS Toolkit. I try getting it from the site but it says for an evaluation copy some salespersons will contact me.

Any help regarding this would be appreciated

I didnt install either vc++ or gnumake for 11.5.9 and 11.5.10.
give a try installing vc++ and gnumake. u dont need mks unless u want to use unix commands on windows machine and more over its really hard getting mks toolkit for free, thats what i heard.
