Hello,
I like to use the Renew Password option On Error message 28001 in a Delphi program. I'am familiar with Sybase and a new user of Oracle.
How can I set a new password in Oracle. I like the last 3 password different from each other.
Can anybody help me. Is it a SQl-statement perhaps

Regards Niek

Hi Niek
It sounds like you are talking about PROFILES here. Profiles allow you to set password 'rule' (such as invalid passwords, expiry rules password histories etc)

Check http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96521/secure.htm#2185
for some details.
