hi all
i want to know what exactly is tabespace?
also can one table be there in more than one tablespace?
is the same true for datafiles?

Hi,
Tablespace is a logical data structure containing extents and datablocks.For more details please refer a standard Oracle doc.

No a table cannot spread across two tablespaces.

Datafile on the other hand is a physical storage structure. A single tablespace can contain one or more than one datafile.
