Hi,

I'm using a database link in my query. I need to do a bulk collect but I'm getting some errors. It works fine when I take out the db link so I just assume that we can't do bulk collect when using db links. Is that true?

This is the code:

declare
TYPE VarTab IS TABLE OF VARCHAR2(30);
pcn_num VarTab;

CURSOR get_pcn IS
SELECT PCN_NUMBER
FROM main@CECPROD_link;

begin

OPEN get_pcn;
FETCH get_pcn bulk collect INTO pcn_num;
CLOSE get_pcn;

end;

The error is: ORA-01025: UPI parameter out of range

Bulk collects over dblinks are not supported in 8i. They are supported in newer versions.

I faced a similar problem while using 9i.
I am using Release 9.2.0.6.0
Does 9i support BULK Collect over DB link?
