dear all
If i am doing recovery on RAC on one node,if the second nodes archive locations is not mounted as NFS or in shared disk how
how oracle or rman will detect the archive logs of the second instances.
eg
node1 arch location /u01/oradata/arch1
node2 arch location /u01/oradata/arch2

if i create /s01/oradata/arch2 the (node 2 arch location) in the first node and place all the second instance archive logs and do the recovery.Whether it will be valid ,wheterh the oracle or rman use these archive logs for node 2 in this location in the first node or whether it will fail
thnks and rgds
