I have an application connecgted to my ORA 10g. The application uses an ini file for a lot of app settings plus the database user name and password - just plain text and it is transmitted over the network this way.
Now, the auditing stated we could not longer do this.
How can i use Oracle encryption to solve my problem.
I know there's a oracle encryption package in 10g...
Are there any minumum requirements like Enterprise edition or something else?
Thanks a lot,mj
