Hi,

You can acieve this in four different methods.

1. Thru SQL Loader
2. Using UTL_FILE Package.
3. Also using ORA_FFI packages.
4. With DDE packages (if using it from Developer 2000).
5. Using External Tables (Only in 9.2.0.3.0 Version)

Hi,

Oracle to Excel:

In excel it self you can use odbc connection for oracle to import the data from oracle to excel files.

For Excel to Oracle:

I mean you have data in excel file and the same thing want to access from oracle or you want to store in oracle.

You have data in excel file and access the data from oracle but dont want to store in oracle: For this you have to use the external table concept. and you can use the simple sql query to get the result from excel file.

ther other one means excel file data you want to store in oracle permanently :

For this you have to use the sql*loader utility to store the data in to oracle database.

Which one you want please post me

Thanks,

This is a 2-year old post...you probably won't get a response.

You may want to review the suggestion you provided for "Excel to Oracle". It will take more than just an external table to get the data from Excel to Oracle.
