Hi, I've created a before update trigger but I don't know why it gives me a PLS-00553 error; anyone knows why?! There are a lot of triggers in my Linux Oracle8i DB created in the same way, and all of them works except this one. Basically, I use this trigger to log to a table located on another user all the changes in a table.
Thx in advance!!!
Reagards

Here is the trigger:

SQL> get TRIG_SO03_LOG_UPDATE.sql
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER TRIG_SO03_LOG_UPDATE
BEFORE UPDATE ON SO03_AGENDA_TEST
REFERENCING NEW AS NEW OLD AS OLD
FOR EACH ROW
begin
INSERT INTO archivesow.SO03_AGENDA_TEST(
archive_id
, archive_action
, cs03_progr_ag_test
, cs03_c_sala
, cs03_anno
, cs03_n_settimana
, c_usr
, cs03_progr_ciclo
, dt_agg
)
VALUES(
archivesow.SEQ_SO03.NEXTVAL
, 'UPDATE'
, :OLD.cs03_progr_ag_test
, :OLD.cs03_c_sala
, :OLD.cs03_anno
, :OLD.cs03_n_settimana
, :OLD.c_usr
, :OLD.cs03_progr_ciclo
, :OLD.dt_agg
);
* end;

The nls_lang seems ok, is the same on the client and on the server... other suggested checks?
