Hello Gurus !

Does anyone have Information on GL Budgeting. We are about to start building a custom module on Budgeting which contains about 30-40 Forms, Reports etc. Any help is deeply appreciated .....

First thing to do would be to check whether any of the standard budgeting modules can be used. The new would be Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB) which is entirely web-based. An older module worth checking out is Public Sector Budgeting (PSB). PSB is part of Oracle Public Sector Financials which comes bundled with Oracle Financials, ie. you do not have to pay extra.

Public Sector Financials under-utilized and not as well known as it deserves. It includes a lot of functionality that are not only of interest for Public Sector entities.

Last year there was a presentation on budgeting at last year's OAUG user conference in Paris.

Of course EPB has come far since then.
