Hi,
I have installed oracle 8i with administration options,configured the listeners and services.
All the things (DBA studio, net 8 Asst etc) are running fine.
HOWEVER ONLY WHEN I START SQL* PLUS I get the error
ORA - 12154 TNS : could not resolve service name

I tried the troubleshooting referring from oracle-error.com

Waiting eagerly for suggestion.

check ur listener. see if the service has started or not. if not start the listener, may be that will solve the problem.
