From the top of my head:
- They actually use space to store data while a normal view does not.
- They require to be refreshed in order to reflect the latest data.

Hi Maher,

While refreshing the materialised views it hangs up without bringing any result.
On the contrary the select query used in the materialised view takes just 10 to 20 minutes to retrieve the result.

Any idea.
