How can I change the Background and text color of my SQL * Plus Window??????????

Yes, if you are using the character mode version. On Windows, Oracle supplies both sqlplus.exe (character mode) and sqlplusw.exe (halfhearted GUI). Always use the character mode one, which runs in a cmd window. (The name of the executable varies between versions so you may have to look around in [[ORACLE_HOME]]bin - e.g. it was "plus80.exe" etc in 8.0.4.)

Make sure you also set the "Start in" and other settings and apply them to the shortcut.
