does anyone run both these databases, if yes,

what does Oracle do that MySql can not ?

Don't know much about MySQL, but stored procedures seem to be one thing.

Whoa,
lots of things:

- triggers
- transactions (well, mysql 4.0 = transaction support but I think it's not serious)
