Many of your questions can be answered by searching the Oracle on-line documentation. If you click on the link below, you will find a menu for searching the on-line documentation. You may have to complete a brief registration with OTN (Oracle Technology Netowrk) before you can access it, but it is free and is something that ever Oracle developer uses. You should check there first, then post any specific questions for clarification, if you still don't understand.



For example, once you have registered, if you click on the link below, it will take you to the section of the on-line documentation regarding sub-queries, including correlated sub-queries.



And, if you click on the linnk below it will provide some examples of correlated sub-queries.



You can also use the search functions on this and other forums and you can search the Internet in general, from your browser, using msn or google or whatever search engine you prefer.
