I canīt install this module. My machine doesn't have a oracle databases. I need to work with remote querys using perl DBI. I need install DBD::Oracle but say "The ORACLE_HOME environment variable must be set" and I don't known what to do.

I think the parameters are in the DBI connect (host, port) but require the set environment variable.

Can you help me please.

Hi,

You must set ORACLE_HOME to your Client Home. You cannot connect remotely without a local client (or server) installation.

Best regards.
