I am getting a "Parent value not allowed in this segment " error when I try to add suppliers in the AP module. Error is on the supplier name field.

Whats the reason for this and how can I fix it ?

check the ap options setup, its possible one of the accounting fields has a parent value in one of the segments.

btw, what version are you on?
