I was using PL-SQL Developer trial version connecting to Oracle 10g database. I am encountering with the following problem:
In order to use the Oracle AQ for our testing purpose we had run a sqlscript createq.sql which comes along with the DB Installation script and this creates 3 tables related to the Oracle AQ-INPUT_QUEUE_TABLE, OUTPUT_QUEUE_TABLE and EXCEPTION_QUEUE_TABLE. When I am trying to access these 3 tables alone with PL/SQL Developer, I am not able to run any queries on them and I get the following message “A Query with objects requires OCI8mode, but OCI7 mode is used.”.

Is PL-SQL Developer certified to use against the database version 10.1.0.3.0, or is there any Database/Software installation problems?

Pls. suggest!
