Hi,
Can anyone tell me the exact syntax of storing pictures and binary data in BLOB Column.
Moreover I m using BFILe to store some external files the files r getting stored properly when when i try to read it oracle give me the error that invalid directory. But i have created the dir on OS as well as in oracle using command CREATE DIRECTORY... . Plz tell me where i m missing and wht?

What environment for the BLOBs? Do they come from the client. In Forms it is pretty easy (built-ins exist). You can use a Java procedure in another environment.
