This is a little tricky for me...I need to prepare a pl/SQL statement that places information that I imported to a dummy table into a set of tables...I need to do a lookup of some sort to get the type code assigned to the proper category....lets say for example I have event, fundraiser, concert, meeting, retreat and all have different options in the view as 10,20, 30, 40,50....How can do the import and also as I do the import from the dummy table and assign the funraiser as the 20 type code which is what it would match up to in the view when the import is done....
