hello friends,
i have installed NTsever 4.0 as stand alone server(no networking)on personal computer.
a) i installed developer 6.0.
when i start sqlplus error comes
ORA-12203 TNS:UNABLE TO CONNECT TO DESTINATION.
b)then i installed 8i all products,
now i start sqlplus of 8i error comes
ORA-01034 ORACLE NOT AVILABLE.
I have 64MB RAM.
any suggestion regarding installation procedures of both the products.

you need at least 96mb to install 8i, with 64mb don't even attempt to install you can not do it
so in crease your RAM and everything will be fine

and what about developer 6 and 6i how much do they require(separately)
and also tellme about 9i requirement.

hi abeginner,
if you add one RAM of 128MB it will be fine with you for ORACLE8i,DISGNER 6i and DEVELOPER 6i
but for 9i i have no idea
