I inherited a Microsoft SQL Server (6) that used to get data from an Oracle 8i. The person that created this used an Access macro to get the data from the Oracle DB. I was wondering if there was a (detailed) way to get the data directly into the SQL Server. Thanks for your help

Spool the data to a flat file, then use SQL server's bulk insert utility. Otherwise, you can use Oracle Transpartent Gateway for SQL Server.
