Dears,

Again i got some question about basics.
Books say SQL orders are inside a cursor wich limit size is defined with INIT.ORA (ConTEXT_SIZE) parameter.

ok , but how mémory works ?
if i got a :"Select * from dba_tables;" ?
Should i Count each letters as a byte ?
So my SOL order is 25 bytes long to store in the memories ?
Then a DATABASE BLOCK witch is defined by 2 800 kBytes
will contains 2 867 200 characters ??

Can i Generalise to all the blocks of a database ? and for all the memories ?
Aka a 2 Go memorie will contains 2 000 * 1024 * 1024 characters ? and then will be considered as FULL ?physicly speaking (no more rooms left on thr hard drive ?
