I'm running Oracle 8.17 and I'm I can't find Query Builder in my start menu programs. Can anyone tell me the exact folder or path to where I can find the query builder executable?

The query builder is part of a separate product. It is part of Developer 2000, along with Forms 6i and Reports 6i, or whatever version of that product you are using. It does not come with Oracle 8i. If you have Developer 2000 installed, then you should find Query Builder under Oracle Forms & Reports 6i.

I don't know if the older versions are still available or not. If you go to

on the left side of the page, under services, you can click on download software, but I only see Oracle 9i Developer Suite, which is the newer version, that is compatible with Oracle 9i, which you can also download. There is also a link for ordering softward via CD. You need to check the licensing requirements too, depending on whether you are just using the software to learn, or using it commercially.
