Does anyone have any suggestions on how to replicate inserts and updates but not deletes from a master site to a snapshot site? We want to replicate data from a production database to a decision support database but not delete data from the decision support database due to retention requirements. I was going to replicate master tables to the snapshot site then using triggers defined on the snapshots, insert or update rows into the final tables that the user would see. But Oracle told me triggers on snapshots are unsupported. Any ideas?
