hi,

I'm running Oracle 9.2 on my Win2k machine. I'm a user of the ora_dba group. I set remote_login_passwordfile = none in the initsid.ora file. I still can't CONNECT / AS SYSDBA. I'm getting insufficient privileges error. Note: I can connect to the database when I reset the remote_login_passwordfile to exclusive. Any idea what's wrong?

Thanks

Bechir

Do you have this line in your $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/sqlnet.ora ?

SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS)
