I have a question.

It is integration project. They have two databases. One is r12 database and another one is fusion database. They transfer some information from former to latter on daily basis.

Client requirement is to compare the output generated in EBS database with fusion database. Client wants a reconciliation report to ensure that data has been safely transferred to fusion database. In the same way, they have another integration between fusion to EBS.

In both cases, they want two reconciliation reports.

Can we write single query to conn to two different databases (viz., r12 database and fusion database) and create one report for inbound and another for outbound.

Is it possible to conn to fusion database using sql (toad,sql navigator).

Pl explain in details

You'll have to talk to your DBA. The standard configuration of EBS and Fusion means that the database listeners will reject any connections that do not come from the Apps middle tiers.
