I have a field in an APEX report that is about 75 characters wide. At about 50 characters it breaks to a second line. I need this to all be on one line.
I have tried changing the Column Width under column definition to 100....this has no effect.

I don't have Apex 4.2 any more. However, in Apex 5.0, you can put
white-space: nowrap
into the CSS style column property

/forum/fa/13440/0/

and that would prevent word wrap. At least, it did for me. See if you can find such a property in 4.2 as well.

Thanks "white-space: nowrap" in CSS style attribute, did the trick!
