please confirm if db link created on 10g is compatible/supported with 12c database.

we are trying to fetch the 12c data using db link on 10g db server.

more surprising, select and view created on 10g are working fine but materiliazed view is not working while it is getting created and refreshed successfully.

regards,

Which 10g version do you use? Unless I'm wrong, 10.2.0 works with 12.1.0, but 10.1.0 has never been supported.

materiliazed view is not working while it is getting created and refreshed successfully.

What does it mean? It is created, it is refreshed, so - what happens when you select from the MV? Do you get any error? If so, which one?

It depends on the full version, see the note I gave.

I did. Went to Metalink as well. Tables specify these versions (i.e. "10.2.0"). On the other hand, I didn't spend much time on that nor went into details so - yes, I believe you're right.
