Hi All,

I am getting the attached error while installing Oracle DB.. Please help..

The error is pretty self-explanatory.

Windows imposes an arbitrary limit on the total length of the PATH variable. Yours is already so close to the limit that the Oracle installer can't add what he needs to. I've run into this before.

You are going to have to examine your PATH and decide what you can remove from it. If this is like most Windows systems, there's a lot of stuff there that's not really needed. Espcecially if this is a server, not a desktop.

I have tried that option .. and the installation was successful.. but after that I am facing some permission problem is certain files.. PFA the screenshot..

One question per thread, please. Start a new thread. In that, explain exactly and fully what you did that lead to the reported error.

I will say that many people have found the SQL Dev that installs with the db to be problematic, Instead, they download and use the latest stand-alone version.
