When will you choose better title for your topics than those stupid "forms" for Forms question and "plsql" for a SQL question (not this is even not a PL/SQL one)?

Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide.
Also always post your Oracle product versions, with 4 decimals.

Generally speaking, you'd create a WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger and put
go_item('second_block.first_textitem');
in there.

The title of your post suggests you are getting an ORA error - is this correct? If so, you will need to give us more details about the error (and the complete error message).

The title of your post suggests you are getting an ORA error ...

Does it? /forum/fa/1600/0/ "forms" is, for me, far too general to conclude anything. But hey, your crystal ball might be better than mine!

I agree, I'm just trying to solicit more information from the OP. Cool
