Hi
Here I have two Interview questions , which is a common question but the discussion
of this answer is very Interesting .

1) when should I go for procedure or function in PL/SQL?

2) when should I go for procedure or package in PL/SQL?

So please provide the answers for above two questions.

Annie

1) When you can't do it in SQL
2) When you can't do it in SQL

However, to actually answer it fully (and I'm not expanding for you here as you should learn) you need to be able to explain and justify those answers, the links Michel gave are a good start.

Yes the answer is when we can't do it in SQL we go for PL/SQL
But when we will choose procedure and when we will choose package
and same function and procedure.

Of-course the link provided by Michel is very good.
