Dear all,

by mistake some tables are trucated from db.i have to import a dmp file.how can i import file to over write the exsiting data.

What existing data? Tables were truncated.

BTW Oracle 10g is obsoleted & unsupported.

You could use the following parameter:

CONTENT=DATA_ONLY


From documentation,

Quote:
DATA_ONLY loads only table row data into existing tables; no database objects are created.
