i am new to expdp/impdp topic

i want to export and import one table using datapump.

is it necessary every time create directory when ever we use datapump.

i am facing one error here.

i create one user in sys scehma and in that user create one table with some data.

now when i am taking backup of this table using expdp i apply full=y and it gives follwing error.

ORA-39161: Full database jobs require privileges

Full=y is not a tables export, it is a full database export which requires high privileges.
If you want to export a table then use "tables" parameter.

Note: "i create one user in sys scehma" this is meaningless. You create a user/schema, you don't create it in another schema.

and if we specified dumpfile and logfile in expdp so it is necessary to create on os level?

No, Oracle create the files.
But you have to create the directory.
